* All main codes (.text) and data (.rdata) are encrypted. PA-Layer decrypts all data at the startup. This increases the plugin loading time seriously. You can compare with older ones
* PA-Layer steals calls as an anti dumping function. All of OEPs and exports (and some routines) are stallen by the layer.
* PA-Layer occupies 4 to 5MB in every single plugins. It's much more than main execution code. For some small plugins, about 90% codes are related to the protection.
This is a nice try to avoid being patched/cracked for the most crackers but not for us. It just impacts the legal users, with the less compatibility and longer loading times. PluginAlliance has about 40 plugins in their hands. When they waste 5MB per plugins, we loose 200MB * 7 (AAX x86/x64, RTAS, VST2 x86/x64, VST3 x64/x64) at the end. Get out from the jungle.
